RENTO is a car rental marketplace app that connects private vehicle owners with other individuals who want to rent a car. Vehicle owners can earn money by renting out their cars on the platform, and all registered vehicles are covered by Rimac's all-risk insurance during each rental. The insurance covers damage, collision, theft, fire, third-party damage, and replacement vehicles. Additionally, the vehicles have GPS tracking that reports in real-time to a monitoring center, which is connected to the national police.
The app has a rigorous identity verification process for renters, which includes facial recognition technology, address verification, driver's license verification, driving records, fines, bank information/debts, and credit card registration for payment.
