RENTO is a car rental marketplace app that connects private vehicle owners with other individuals who want to rent a car. The app offers a variety of services to make the rental process quick and safe. Vehicle owners can earn money by renting out their cars on the platform, and all registered vehicles are covered by Rimac's all-risk insurance during each rental. The insurance covers damage, collision, theft, fire, third-party damage, and replacement vehicles. Additionally, the vehicles have GPS tracking that reports in real-time to a monitoring center, which is connected to the national police.
The app has a rigorous identity verification process for renters, which includes facial recognition technology, address verification, driver's license verification, driving records, fines, bank information/debts, and credit card registration for payment. Renters and vehicle owners rate each other on the app, and the results are visible to the community. Vehicle owners can accept or reject reservations based on the renter's photo, name, surname, address, driver's license, and previous rental ratings.
